    Just my 2 cents. Personally I have anarchist/Social libertarian convictions. And all this anti-government sentiment is good enough but doesn’t really get to the heart of the problem, for the people to operate they will need some sort of institutional structure which is void of arbitrary authority and is only a vehicle to achieve the ends which are desired by federated, autonomous communities.

    Government isn’t the real problem, well I mean it is a problem but, it’s those corporate bastards that are using state power for their ends…Socialism for the rich. Really the people have a lot to answer for by not running, organizing and voting on their own issues. And ultimately setting them selves free. Hung up on what America once was and how they want it back, not gonna happen, will have to build it anew, for yourselves, by yourselves.

  7. My tax dollars should not be supporting a community activist group. I should be choosing where my money goes. This is more evidence that my tax dfollars are being thrown out a window rather than being put to good use. Give the money back to the people we’re better at managing money than the government.

  10. Clinton served as President of the United States. The POTUS is the executive. Congress is the legislative. Clinton could not repeal Glass Steagall. He could only affirm or veto whatever Congress gives him. The GOP Congress gave Clinton the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. Clinton, being a crony corportist, signed it into law.

  13. You have NO knowledge that Clinton had ANYTHING to do with the housing issue. He did, of course have his hands in it when he signed the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. Since that was signed into law the GOP never fixed the problem that they created w/ Clinton. In fact, they made it worse when they passed the bankruptcy “reform”. They did this years prior to the housing bubble crashing. Do you honestly think they didn’t know what was going to happen?

  14. Its not a lie and it is common knowledge that Clinton was responsible for requiring relaxed qualification requirements for the mortgage industry and Dodd and Franks pushed Clintons agenda. The realization of what you state is you are another classic lying liberal

  15. Repeating a lie doesn’t make it the truth. The housing bubble STARTED in 1999, as the data clearly shows, at a time when the GOP controlled both houses of Congress. How could Dodd and Franks do something that they had no power to do? The reality is that the talking points you’re repeating is utter bullshit, and you know it.

Despite all their best efforts he never could pronounce “nuclear”. As for the housing bubble I completely debunk the right wing claims that ACORN, and for that matter Dodd or Frank had ANYTHING to do with it.

Read Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States and James Loewen’s Lies My Teacher Taught Me and ask yourself why those topics are not covered in public schools.
