  18. Are you referring to WW2? Because if you are, you are mistaken with your facts. UK entered the war after the German armies invaded Poland. Canada waited about 1 week AFTER the UK declared war before entering. The reason? We were still reeling from the casualties of WW1 and wanted to prove we were becoming more than a Dominion and instead a sovereign nation.
    We did not enter the day britain got attacked, but we did stand by our allies in a just war.

  19. I don’t care about the Iraq War, I’m defending the actions of the United States during WWII. Hara001 made it sound like the U.S., an independent and self governing state, owed everyone a favor and it was its duty to fight and save everyone’s ass. Maybe if the U.S. was still a commonwealth you people would have a better reason get your balls in a knot. Finally, more people is more people. Ninety percent of ten is still only nine. But everyone who died should be honored for their sacrifice.

  20. That sounds about right.. America has virtually 10x the population of Canada.. That being said, Canada probably lost a larger amount of troops percentage-wise. Also, Canada would have gone to Iraq if the UN was convinced the US was justified. The UN didn’t back the effort so Canada didn’t join.. and it was the right decision. I was a proud Canadian that day we didn’t blindly follow the US into a country they had no business invading. ‘Ol W just trying to finish what his dad started.. shameful.

If Canada hadn’t been a British commonwealth they probably would have done less than they did. Not to cheapen human life but the United States had over 400,000 military deaths by the end of WWII and Canada had only lost around 45,000 servicemen. So you can shove maple syrup up your cold, shrivled, canuck asshole because nobody gives two shits about the moose-fucking north.

America has one of the most colossal armies in the world and just because we don’t want to get our own troops killed in a pointless war that means we don’t care? Hell, america unsuccesfully invaded Canada back in 1812. why on earth does that make it okay to expect us to help?

  25. The point is Canada entered the war the day britain got attacked. The US waited until it got attacked on its soil to do anything. So, you don’t really stand by your allies at all, yet are angry at Canada because we didn’t joined your shitty war of lies in Iraq. Double standards anyone?
