This rot of this corruption from the head of the organization the encourages this illegal behavior that has been displayed in the videos shows that a complete house cleaning and FULL airing of ALL records of ACORN needs to be done. To ignore these facts and say that it is just a couple of bad apples flies in that face of overwhelming evidence of wrong doing that have been shown in the publicized videos.

I find that Stuart DOES believe in people and folks like you believe in amorphous societal systems. Even in your emotional plea to “fix it” you fail to recognize the “it” is a “who” or more accurately , several “whos”. America (and capitalism) works when government gets out of the way of the individual so they can achieve. Collectivism destroys individual achievement and there is enough data proving that from worldwide historical records to fill YouTube’s servers to capacity.
They don’t hate and fear based on their flawed understanding of sociopolitical definitions like “product” and “unproductive”. They hate because hate and selfishness are in their heart. It is selfishness that tells someone that they deserve the results of someone else’s efforts without repaying them. It is selfishness that says I am entitled but I shouldn’t be expected to contribute. It is selfishness (and criminality) that says you must not care about me because you won’t give me what I demand
Americans help people more than any other group in the world , google The Fraser Institute, Canada 2006 generosity index. The “fallen” are brought up in this society if they so choose. There are alternatives to “the street” for EVERYONE and those alternatives do not need to involve breaking the laws.
You have divulged a fundamental lack of understating of the contextual meaning of the word “system” and are basing your argument on that misunderstanding. Capitalism is a system in as much as an eco-system is a system. There is no central control nor over-arcing structural support to define it. It is organic and more importantly it IS PEOPLE. Capitalism is US, WE the PEOPLE. The morality or lack thereof is divulged by the laws of the people and the enforcing of said laws.
Nobody said the people don’t have the “right to fulfill hopes and aspirations” they don’t have the right to other people’s money to pay for their mortgages nor squat on property that doesn’t belong to them. It’s fairly straight forward, stop obfuscating.
