    what about roads and school, Glen Beck uses the library? What about food & drug inspection? What about unemployment or should we just let the poor die? I mean really nothing but military police and fire control? What about the establishment and enforcement of building codes? Have you really thought this through? It’s kind of retarded.

    YES! Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare, PP, FDA, FTC, FCC, FED, CIA, Get rid of them all, they are all corrupt and illegitimate

    But Soc Sec, Medicare, Medicaid are govt run ponzis that you can’t readily get rid of since congress spent the money that law abiding citizens have already paid into them, to end them would be like, thanks for the money, but, you don’t get it back

    Government should not have any program/agency other than military, police, and fire control

As I see it the real ? is: do you believe that we (US citizens) have a responsibility to each other to ensure that each of us have health insurance OR do you believe that certain groups of people are expendable? If you believe the former, then you know that starting over is NOT an option. You also know that doing nothing is NOT an option. People are hurting. People are sick. People need help. And if Imust pay more in taxes so that we ALL (myself included) can have adequate health care so be it.

  6. I do fully respect our President, President Obama. Sadly, some of these politicians think not of our country but of something else. The civilian federal health insurance program is not a bad deal. Yes, even as a federal employee, you do have to pay in – to pool in. I salute President Obama.

He can’t even admit his true agenda; he tries to make it sound like he’s heroically trying to save the health care system when this is nothing but a major government power grab. Speaking of 2012, the so called benefits for health care don’t start until 2014 yet Obama tried to slam this bill through. If this is really about health care & all these people r dying because of lack of coverage y not start the benefits b4 the 2012 election?

    I paid 7000 for an Ivy league Education.
    I pay Zero for Health Care
    I pay high income taxes relative to the U.S… But I know.. I will not pay as my parents paid…25000 for a NYC private school…for each child.. and 12000×5 for health care… btw.. I own propety in the U.S and Canada.. and I tell you..for all the good..it could be that much better in the

    Obama got his butt kicked! He seemed very arrogant, condescending & unsure of himself; then he basically stated that they were going to try to pass it anyway & WE THE PEOPLE could vote to express how we felt. That’s cowardly because he’s not up for reelection but the democrats r; so he is more than willing to throw them under the bus so he can pass his anti-freedom agenda. They can insure all the uninsured for 38 billion a year instead of nationalizing the entire health care system. How evil!

  20. @Quindal your insurance example fails.. I would pay more for insurance in the U.S then I do here.. (NO Fault insurance ..all covered…replacement car up to 4 years.. and I own a 2008 BMW @ 78 a month.. go figure..I would pay more in the U.S ( big city) for the perfect record I have.. your reference is the U.S… I tried the U.S model.. and it is not perfect.. but use examples that you are sure has not been tested elsewhere.
