    the balance between east and west is tilting, but your right, the west would not diminish just yet. and china only started developing economically in 1980, and militarily only started developing in the 1990s after the Gulf War when Chinese military commanders truly realized that advanced technologies beats numbers of soldiers.

  21. Globalization has helped many countries to improve their growth rate. It is very wrong to say that the west would diminish and east will rise !!

    East depends on the west for business. Without the western consumers, there will be no growth for China (particularly).

    Why China whines about protectionism by the west? China needs business and in other words, it depends on the west.

    It wouldn’t take much time for the west to tilt the balance of power favorable to their side.

    lol, well said, except for china, it seems to be a tradition to treat foreigners like gods! lol, China has 1.4 billion peple, second largest country in terms of land mass, infinite degree of complexity within the society, even within the Majority Han ethnic group, there are exists distinctive sub-ethnic cultures which would seperate into 4 or 5 different states had there been no strong centralized government.
